Fantastic service from Barry today, the day before Christmas and our sockets tripped out, no heat or fridge. However Barry arrived quickly and got straight to work. The job turned out to be extremely complex but Barry wouldn't be beaten and had us up and running in a couple of hours.  We couldn't be more pleased! There is more work needed so we will be getting him back in the new year. A very pleasant man to deal with.

Replied so quickly and made time in his busy diary to visit.  He actually did the same for my neighbour and fitted her in even though his diary was full.  Really great job and very friendly and helpful.  Would not hesitate in recommending Barry.  Great job.  Totally professional.

Barry Didcott is, in my opinion a consumate proffessional, starting with the safety checks he made before looking at the actual jobs I wanted him to quote for. His prices were competitive. Proof of his qualifications & status as a member of the NECEIC were made available to me. He worked methodically, safely & tidily.

It is with a sense of relief that I found "Direct Electrical" to be trustworthy, skilled and a pleasure to do business with.

From the initial inspection, Barry was able to advise on the options available to us, from straightforward like for like replacement, to full system expansion. Once we'd agreed on the work to be undertaken an appointment was scheduled for the work to be performed. Barry arrived on time and performed the upgrades to a very high standard. It was very easy dealing with Direct Electrical, we have felt very confident we're in safe hands throughout the entire process. Highly recommended.

We had one light on the corner of the back / side of the house which stopped working and we had been meaning to replace this with a PIR light for several months; we finally got round to contacting Barry recently and had the work booked in for yesterday afternoon.

Barry arrived on time and got straight onto the job in hand, working quietly and meticulously. Two new PIR's are now in place - one is activated if you exit the back door to the side of the house and the other when you turn the corner to the back of the house.

We tested them last night and both are working perfectly and provide the exact amount of brightness we required.

Barry came on the same day I called him having been to the suppliers to purchase the units on his way here. 

He was extremely helpful and answered a few other questions I had about my house burglar alarm. 

I have used him before and would do so again if the need arose.

Arrived within 20 mins of calling and had the job completed in another 20 minutes. Barry was friendly and helpful.

Barry arrived within a couple of hours and sorted out the problem - which turned out not to be a simple solution. He made sure all was safe and working properly. I would definitely recommend and will be using Barry again for some new light fittings and other lighting jobs.

What a genuine guy, called Barry early morning as the alarm going off at my Mums place and no one could shut it off. He was there in 5 minutes or so, shut everything off and didn't even charge.
