Safe Local Trades stalwart Pete Bird set to fly high as new showroom launched

We are thrilled to announce that Pete Bird, a long-standing member of Safe Local Trades, has officially opened the doors to his new showroom at 1 Eden Way, Enterprise Park, Yaxley, as of today, 19th July 2025.

Pete said: “When I set up Pete Bird Kitchens & Bathrooms, it wasn’t just about fitting a few units or tiling walls. I’d been in the trade over 20 years, and I’d seen too many people left disappointed.

“Whether it was cowboy builders bodging the job, poor communication, or cheap materials that have a very limited life, I knew it could be better than that.

“I wanted to build something solid that offered honest advice, top notch craftsmanship, and quality materials that actually stand the test of time. Since then, me and my wife Ewelina have grown the business from the ground up. We’re still a family run team, and we’re proud to be known locally for doing things properly.”

And here is what visitors and customers can expect:   

• A carefully thought-out, calm space to offer inspiration and a showcase for what Pete and the team can do in terms of quality and range. You can also have a cuppa and chat through ideas in person.
• Pete has always been big on personal service - no pushy sales patter just honest, practical advice, and products actually used on real jobs.    
• Planning a new kitchen or bathroom is a big decision, so customers can spend as much time as they wish and need on looking at all aspects in the showroom – opening drawers and looking at finishing touches is encouraged, offering a hands-on experience!
• Every fitter is part of Pete’s own team. They’re all DBS checked, fully trained, and proud of what they do.
