If you don't already know someone it can be hard to know who to trust, so I'm very happy 'safelocaltrades' exists and that people take the time to leave genuine feedback. I had already used it to find a good roofer, so I felt more confident when looking for someone to replace my fencing (two sides of my property). 

Neil came twice to view the proposed work to ensure he gave me a detailed and as was shown to be, an accurate quotation, which was broken down so that I could easily understand it. 

After asking Neil to proceed, he kept to his agreed start date and schedule, working full time until the work was completed.

I was happy that Neil kept me in the loop at all times, asking how I'd like certain think to look and getting agreement where required.

In the end, the work was completed under budget, which is always a bonus.

All work was completed to an excellent standard (very happy with my new fences), and the clean up was thorough.

Neil and David were most amiable at all times, and always reliable.

If I ever need more fencing work, they will be my 'go to' firm, and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a good job completed at the highest standard.

Neil did a great job, from planning and prep all the way through to completion. He always came up with good solutions and improvements along the way because he wanted to do the best possible job.

Totally recommend for any work needed. Highly trustworthy and competent at what he does. 

What an excellent experience this was from start to finish.  When Neil came to quote, I felt confident he would do a good job.  To sum him up - personable, polite and professional. He spent time to explain what would be involved and from then on his communication was excellent.  He always provided updates and pointed out any unexpected issues which crop up (as they do), followed by solutions. 

He and his co-worker David calmly got on with the job and worked well together.  Neil's knowledge, eye for detail, willingness to go "over and above" if necessary, hard work and perfectionism are rare traits indeed. The final fence is A1 quality, solid and looks fantastic.  (He also has a great doggie supervisor!).

No hesitation to in recommending Neil - would give 11 out of 10 if it were possible.  Fabulous!

I cannot praise Neil (and David) highly enough for the fantastic job they did with my fence today. The previous post and panels had rotted and now, with the new ones fitted, it makes such a huge difference to both the look and security of my garden.

Neil is certainly an expert at his trade - incredibly knowledgeable and a true perfectionist. Both he and David worked non-stop on the job, from clearing away the old post and panels, mixing concrete and then carrying out the work of the highest standard. They also went over and above my turning over my border and tidying it all up.

Attention to detail is what Neil specialises in - near enough is not a phrase you would hear from him, it's right or it will not get done.

Really pleased with the end result and professional manner. Excellent work ethic, trustworthy and highly reliable. Would highly recommend.

Neil and David worked very hard in difficult weather conditions to complete the job. They were friendly and considerate at all times and communicated well with ourselves and the neighbours. The work was completed to their normal high standards. 

I am more than happy with his work and him keeping me updated throughout. 

I will definitely be having Neil back to complete the final side of fence which will hopefully be early next year. 
He is trustworthy, reliable and I cannot recommend him enough.

Neil and David were punctual and very friendly, they worked very hard and nothing was too much trouble. They worked to a very high standard and their work is excellent. When Neil had finished the fencing it looked brilliant and we are very pleased. Neil also took away all old fencing and rubbish and left things very clean and tidy.

We would definitely recommend him. 

Neil was very knowledgeable and was very thoughtful in mutually agreeing the requirements, prompt to supply the quote, and very proactive in arranging work dates. Any delays were notified and agreed up front (all unavoidable). The work was completed and left us with a lovely replacement fence exactly as we wanted. Neil always gave 110 percent effort to his work. Will have him back again!
