Summary:
Barry came round to check the electrics in our house and was there for 1.5 - 2 hours. Our house is 40+ years old and we knew that some work would need to be carried out to bring the electrics up to scratch before we started any major work i.e. replacing the kitchen etc. He was very thorough and particularly helpful when it came to explaining what work needed to be done as soon as possible from a safety point of view and what additional work could be done to meet current regulations.
He confirmed that he would forward the report to us within the next week. As it happened, we had a (completely separate!) problem with our electric socket for the washing machine a couple of days later, so we called Barry to see if he could pop over at some point in the next few days, but he said he would pop over straight away as he was going to bring our report to us anyway. He was there within 30 mins and once he'd sorted out the problem, he was only too happy to go through the report with us.
Brilliant! Cannot fault the service provided and would happliy recommended Direct Electrical Ltd to anyone who asks about an electrician.
Comments:
Very thorough and was very clear on what needed doing from a safety point of view asap and what could wait. Very happy with the work carried out and we will be booking an appointment for him to come back and do the work he's advised needs doing.
