I found Neil to be very professional and competent in doing what he does best. I've used Neil in the past and I intend to use him again if needed. He is very knowledgeable about his trade and you know you can rely on him.

We knew we had a leak and could see some broken tiles, when we were recommended to Neil; he made us feel very confident that he could do the job and was very accommodating with his time, fitting us in. 

Once he got into the job, we could see that much of the structure was rotten, and that wear and tear and aging had caused more damage than we expected.

Neil’s approach was simply brilliant.  He went through the options, put on a plaster or fix it properly and we could see that he hadn’t scheduled the full fix, and so was worried about leaving a job half done.

I am pleased to say that Neil worked around our schedule and his own, and this enabled us to properly fix the problem fully with materials that won’t erode and because we worked with Neil’s schedule he fixed the problem and was able to do it for a very reasonable price.  The finished job is so much better than we expected and we can now decorate.

When we first meet Neil, he came across as knowledgeable, understanding and reassuring that he knew what the problems were. Out of the 3 contractors he was the only one who actually got up on the roof and inside the roof to identify the problems. The main roof had to be stripped back and the trusses set at the correct angle, re-felted, retiled with the good mortar work on the valleys and verges which were now installed with the correct overlap.

Neil explained how long it would take and advised us each day what he had been completed and what was left to be finished. At the end of each day he ensured we were always left watertight.

His finished product is a 100% improvement on what the builder tried to do on a simple roof. I would highly recommend Neil.

I am very happy with the work which Neil undertook.  He tidied up when the work was completed.  I couuld not have had anyone any better to undertake this work.  I would definitely recommend Neil to other people.  It is nice to find someone who is reliable and a good worker.

Very confident gentleman - the work I thought would be a nighmare was not!

I can thoroughly recommend Neil who worked throughout the scorching heat stripping the garages original roof, redecking it and laying EPDM. He did new flashings and new corrigated clear perspex on the same roof. He hit a snag on the cast iron down-pipe which had sewage as well as rain water venting, but he went to great lengths to get a plumber in and it was sorted out (by this time I trusted him totally and didn't have a panic). As well as all this he even did some block laying for my next door neighbour as well as several other jobs (not related to roofing) but showing he was willing to help anyone in need). YES - this is the guy to get in with any roofing work (The EPDM looks so good - I believe the latest thing and it comes with a great guarantee) . I would thoroughly recommend him - I can't thank him enough. A hard worker proven when he worked throughout the heat.

A professional job with no complaints at all. Didn't even want cups of tea etc., despite the heat of the summer!! The roof looks great and with the guarantee, it will last for many many years.
