After a couple of hours of searching the internet and not being convinced by what I was seeing, and all the obviously fake reviews, I came across Safe Local Traders via a Reddit post. I was put at ease right away when a very polite man named Neil turned up in his fully-livered van and workwear. NS Rickett is a legit local roofing business and not (you know who I mean). He did a roof tile inspection and charged nothing for his time because he couldn't find a problem. Explained how I could investigate it further. Highly recommended.

Visited to give us a free quote before we gave the go-ahead to do work. Gave a good explanation on the exact work that was needed and gave a fair quote. Arrived bang on time on agreed day, and did a great job. Final bill came in substantially lower than the original quote, which was not expected but proved good value for money. Would recommend.

If Carlsberg did roofers then they'd be Neil and Emma.
