Summary:
To replace old fuse box and install new one.
Comments:
A fuse blew on the original (and very old) fuse box meaning the electrical shower would not work. I called Barry on Friday just after lunchtime to see when he could come and have a look to provide a quote.
He said he was really busy but recognised the urgency of the situation as we were without a shower and he agreed to come later that day. He brought a replacement fuse to get the shower working but unfortunately this would not work as the fuse that had blown was very old and these parts are no longer available.
Due to the urgency Barry provided a quote and arranged his diary so that he could do the work the following Monday.
He came on time, did all the necessary checks (and more!!), fitted the new fuse box and even fitted a replacement outside security light at no extra cost.
His standard, manner and service of work are excellent and I recommend him to everyone I know. It's a very rare thing these days to get excellent service like this. I cannot fault anything - indeed only give praise (and rightly deserved!!).

Summary:
I had a complete loss of power at about 16:30 when my fusebox exploded twice.
Comments:
My usual electrician was away and gave me Barry's contact info. Barry had just got in, but he was with me in 30 minutes in his awesomely equipped van with its own light and power. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the fuseboard. Fabulous service.

Summary:
Put some switches in and changed over some other switches. He also put specialist dimmers in and put up all light fittings.
Comments:
Excellent work - Barry is booked in to come back and do more work. Although I had never met him before, I felt I could completely trust him and felt comfortable leaving my house key with him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
