New fuseboard installed and all wiring circuits checked. Also a new double socket installed in the kitchen.

We have used Barry a number of times now and woukd not use anyone else. He is thorough, professional, tidy, always polite and on time. We have absolute faith in the work that he does. He always explains what is happening and how he needs to proceed and ensures that we are happy to do so. We cannot recommend Direct electricals enough.

Barry attended my Mum's home at incredibly short notice today and did a fantastic job indeed; he solved her faulty alarm problem in 2 mins flat.
He also waited an additional 15 mins (at no extra charge) to satisfy himself that the alarm system had fully cleared/reset itself and the problem was fully rectified.
I can certainly recommend him, without hesitation, for any domestic alarm or electrical work; he's a real hero... in fact, he should be wearing a cape !!!

Striplight in kitchen not working.

He came! He saw! He conquered!
Barry called while I was out so I can only report my wife's view. He discovered, after making some checks, that the tube was misaligned. He made the adjustment and alleluia the light worked! He was here for a very short time and was gracious enough not to make a charge. He will be my first port of call if I have a real electrical issue in the future.

Summary:
My solar power system had gone down and the installer was no longer trading. I needed to make sure the system was made safe pending repair.
Comments:
Barry turned out on a Sunday without quibble and although not a solar power expert made the system safe and guided me towards someone who could help me with repairs. A pleasant and reassuring presence!

Barry and his son checked the electrics in the Open Door Baptist Church. They then installed new sockets and moved others. Checking the whole (complicated) installation was safe at all times.
Comments:
Barry and his son give so much - honesty, integrity, good prices, good work. I would not hesitate to shout their praises widely. They treat everyone with great respect.
