The work carried out looks beautiful and I would definitely have Karl back and will recommend him.

My house looks like new. Not only did Mr Birkett paint ceilings, walls and woodwork to a very high standard (not easy in an old Edwardian house), he did it in record time.  Mr Birkett was a pleasure to have in my house - completely reliable and trustworthy.

Karl has done an exceptional job of painting my house. He is very kind, professional and courteous. He is tidy and leaves my house clean every day. 

This was the second job Karl has done for us and again his work was of the highest quality. Importantly for us he is very accommodating regarding access whilst he works. My wife is a wheelchair user who needs frequent visits to the loo and who needs privacy as she is helped in and out. Despite frequent interruptions Karl never once grumbled nor did he lose the thread of where he had reached in the painting. He was a pleasant and interesting man to have working in our home. Furthermore, the quality of his work was top notch. The wooden bannisters have never looked so good and he managed to work around the rail of our stair lift to reach the skirting board on the stairs. Altogether an excellent job.

We had been wanting to decorate our house since moving in back in 2016.  Most of the house had been painted with a matte finish paint around a decade ago.  With two young children, trying to clean dirty fingerprints etc. off the walls usually meant taking the paint off too.

We contacted Karl who came to look at the areas we wanted to re-decorate and he was very helpful in suggesting types of paint that would be suitable for easy maintenance (with children in mind!).  

He allocated 3 weeks to complete the work and finished on schedule with no disruption - he worked around us and nothing was too much trouble e.g. cracks and holes in the wall were seamlessly filled as they were encountered.

Karl's work is of the highest standard and we would whole heartedly recommend his services.
