Nigel project managed our build from demolition of existing conservatory to final handover. This included digging of foundations, erecting new steelwork, removal of existing external walls and building new external and internal walls as well as fitting patio doors and windows.

He supervised all plumbing work, plastering and electrical works. At all times, we were kept informed of the project's progress and what to expect next. He is a tidy worker and very particular with an eye to detail and we have been left very pleased with our extension.

He is very professional and pleasant to work with and I would most definitely recommend him for any building project you have in mind. 

The work was done to a high standard, always clear and honest communication with what he intended to do on what day. Had no issues leaving him to work and trusting him to get the job done on time to a high standard. 

It is always a joy to have Nigel and Connor in my home. They are so personable, extremely affable and nothing is ever too much trouble - always going the extra mile with good-humour and exemplary customer service.

Thank you both - it is brilliant to now have those little niggly things all sorted!

Really enjoyed having Nigel and his son Connor do this job for us. Nigel listened to what we wanted from the beginning and came back with a quick quote. He kept us informed about the job and when he would be coming to work on it (although he only had to leave us for one day).  I felt very confident from the beginning that we would get what we wanted and was not disappointed when Nigel had finished.  One of the big benefits of getting Nigel to do the job was that he was able to organise other tradesmen to come and do their bits with no hassle. Over all, absolutely excellent work!

We decided to use Crescent Carpentry again for work in our newly bought house. Nigel and Connor turned a child's playroom into a new home office with a breakfast bar at the window. They helped with some great suggestions and we were grateful for it as the end result was excellent. They were friendly and worked in good time, creating a bespoke bookcase and office desk with an Iroko desk top which matched the breakfast bar that was fitted to the window.

Very friendly and reliable. We were extremely pleased with the standard of work carried out by Nigel and his son. They were able to answer all of our questions and advise us accordingly.  They contacted us with a time they would be available and kept to that time. The work was carried out in less than a day.

Exceptional work completed.

This was the largest renovation project we’d undertaken to date and I was naturally a little apprehensive. But from the moment Nigel stepped into our home any stress or concern I had was instantly alleviated. Extremely professional and personable, his expertise, recommendations and advice from the very first meeting just installed the trust that we were in very good hands.

Nigel managed the whole project from kitchen installation to construction, to electrics, to plumbing and it couldn’t have gone smoother. His communication surpasses any tradesman I’ve ever dealt with, we were kept informed of the timeline throughout and I never once felt worried or in the dark. Ultimately, I just felt that Nigel and Connor cared about keeping our lives as normal as possible throughout, never leaving us without anything for long, e.g., ensuring we were only without a washing machine for one day. Even going the extra mile to let us borrow his heater when a radiator was temporarily removed. An absolute dream to work with and the end result is stunning. Absolutely chuffed to bits with it. And all completed within 3.5 weeks!

I can’t see myself using anyone else for future renovations, my first call will always be to Crescent Carpentry & Building Ltd.

Nigel previously fitted built in wardrobes for us this year, so we knew the quality of his work. Prior to Covid we were planning a complete new kitchen, however this morphed into a kitchen refurb once the restrictions were lifted. Nigel and Connor did a fantastic job and we are extremely pleased with the final makeover. He is always extremely accommodating and worked with us to meet my vision of the final look I wanted to achieve.

Always a pleasure to have Nigel and Connor in the house. Next project the bathroom!
