Due to the volume of Nigel's work I had to wait a long time to employ his services. The wait was worth the end results. Nigel is a polite and very competent tradesman. His explanation of what was required and the costs involved were easy to comprehend. Throughout the two day job Nigel and his very able Father-in-Law John got on with the job in ernest - they covered all carpets and made little or no mess at all. Supplied and fitted new sliding wardrobes with custom built shelves inside, fitted new skirting and put up blind.

A friend of mine recommended Safe Local Trades and I found Nigel on here and got in touch with him.
He came to assess the work and measure it all up. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave very good advice as to how best to ensure the new fitted wardrobe looked as if it had been built into the room. He provided samples of sliding doors and once we had decided which ones to go with, he then followed it all up a quote, which we excepted.
The work carried out was of an exceptional high standard and Nigel is a true craftsman. We are absolutely delighted with the new wardrobe.
Nigel as a tradesman is honest, punctual, hardworking, professional and an extremely nice person. This, coupled with his standard of work, makes him an 'ideal' tradesman and a credit to what Safe Local Trades stands for.

Neil made an excellent job of matching a rotten part of a 150 year old fascia. When finished it looked as good as the day it was first made. He arrived on time and talked me through what he was going to do and then got on with it.

Nigel was able to fit in our work not long after we accepted the written quote.
Four of the new doors were fitted in one day. We asked for the fitting of the last door to be held over for a later date, this was no problem for Nigel.
The alterations to the kitchen cupboard, doors and worktop were completed to a very high standard.
Nigel is a hardworking, punctual and tidy tradesman. He is a professional and friendly person and we would have no problem in recommending him.
