Your local seal of approval
As an Approved Safe Local Trades Member, we would actively encourage you to use the logo to distinguish you and your business as being trustworthy, reliable and a provider of quality work. As part of our marketing strategy for Safe Local Trades, we advise consumers to look out for this logo as it is the 'local' symbol of trust and reputation, therefore please display it wherever possible.
When your record went live on www.safelocaltrades.com, you will have received an email with copies of the high resolution jpg logos below. These can be used on your website, social media, corporate letter-head, invoices, receipts, business cards, adverts, etc.
Should you require further copies of these, they can be downloaded below using the following instructions:
- Right-click on the logo
- Choose 'Save Image as' and then specify the location e.g., your desktop
If you include the logo on leaflets, work-wear etc., some printing companies may request a higher resolution of the logo e.g., an EPS version (Vector); please contact us to request this.
Safe Local Trades Logos
DBS Checked Logo
To download a copy of our DBS Checked logo to use:
- Right-click on the logo
- Choose 'Save Image as' and then specify the location e.g., your desktop
Note: As we pride ourselves on being the ONLY police checked recommended register of local vetted traders, it is critical that we can substantiate this statement for ALL members. If your Basic DBS Certificate has expired (click on Overview Menu Option above to check), then you will need to apply for one immediately to avoid being suspended from the website; these require renewal every three years.
Should you need to apply for a new one, go to:

Once it is processed, you will be supplied with a Certificate Number and a Share Code; this will follow with a hard copy that will be posted to you. When you receive the hard copy, please either scan or take a clear photo and email it to us at enquiries@safelocaltrades.com
Reviews Logos
If you have your own website, you may wish to have a Safe Local Trades logo with a link behind, to point visitors to your profile and reviews on here.
The following are two options and you can download these using the following instructions:
- Right-click on the logo
- Choose 'Save Image as' and then specify the location e.g., your desktop
To obtain your personal URL (link) to your Safe Local Trades profile, select 'Overview' from the menu above and the URL will be displayed on the last line of the 'Your Adverts' section.
Our Referral Scheme

Print your profile & reviews
We've created a simplified version of your profile for you to easily print off as a handout to prospective customers. Reviews of your choice can be included in this by clicking on the 'Your Reviews' (on the top toolbar above) and selecting or deselecting each review using the 'Marked for Print' toggle, found underneath each review.
