Lee came to scope the job and consider the best route for the pipes for each radiator. He then submitted an estimate that was within £50 of my own guess.

The lounge radiator required Lee to fit into a tight roof space in order to drop the pipes through the ceiling. The result was a neat installation that only requires the pipes to be painted. The kitchen radiator appeared to be a little more tricky, requiring routing either over or under the kitchen cupboards, that was until Lee came up with a completely different solution which resulted in an extremely neat fix.  

Lee is an extremely personable gentleman and a very good tradesman. In addition Lee then changed the stiff washing machine isolation valve, a problem that arose while he was here working. He works quickly and leaves no mess and am happy to retain his contact details for the future.

Furthermore, Lee messaged the following day to check that all was well.

Arrived on time. Explained everything as he carried out the work. Kept the surrounding area clean, and tidied up afterwards.

My wife and I have been using Lee for several years now and he is our natural 'go to' for central heating and plumbing issues. The work he undertook today has pretty much transformed our heating - we are actually turning the thermostat down! His skills and knowledge are a given but his greatest asset is his charming personality; you can show your ignorance and ask him a question and he will explain in simple language without ever 'talking down'. His rates are reasonable and he does a really good job, clearing away, leaving everything tidy.

Lee came to service our gas boiler (annual service). He let us know when he was on the way to our house, very nice person, very tidy and respectful of being in your home.

Lee did a thorough check of my non-working boiler to determine whether it was repairable at 28 years old. Sadly it was not.

As the boiler was defunct, Lee switched on and checked my immersion heater was working, before leaving. As he could not carry out a repair he refused any payment.
