Reviews of Eden Flooring

Having moved into a new property in November 2025, we made plans for some internal renovations. This commenced a few months ago and included removing walls to create a spacious open area with new kitchen and new flooring throughout.

I had already purchased flooring for the large kitchen, dining and hallway area, but my builder hesitated to install it due to concerns about flooring tolerance and the need for a perfectly level surface. In response to my urgent request, David arrived at short notice, assessed the situation, consulted with my builder, and returned a week later to screed and level the floor before laying the hardwood.

He subsequently came back a few weeks later to carpet the hall, stairs, and landing.

David's work was exceptional. In addition to the flooring, he also skilfully installed skirting boards, expertly mitring numerous corners. He showed great respect for our property and ensured everything was tidied up at the end of each day. His punctuality and work schedule for the project was spot on.

I am 150% happy with the quality of his work and have since recommended him to fellow police officers and other friends and family. The value for money was outstanding, especially compared to another flooring company my builder initially suggested, whose representative seemed unfamiliar with flooring tolerances and attempted to upsell additional services.

Finding a tradesperson who delivers on their promises with such pride in their work is rare. David approached every task with care and never rushed through any aspect of the job. He was exceptionally friendly and unassuming, and Jane his wife was professional and courteous when she called to check on progress.

David took the time to explain everything thoroughly and I was so comfortable with him being in my property, that I left him a key to my home so he could work in my absence.

I cannot recommend Eden Flooring highly enough.

As someone who experiences anxiety, I felt apprehensive while waiting for the various traders to arrive to look at the job and provide a quote for new flooring. However, when David arrived, I immediately felt at ease due to his lovely affable nature and therefore was happy to employ him for the job.

Once we decided to proceed, Jane took charge of the organisation of the project and was incredibly helpful. For instance, when the carpet we initially wanted was out of stock, she suggested an alternative that matched in texture and colour but was from a different brand, which we happily accepted.

David was punctual for all appointments and left no mess behind, ensuring all rubbish was cleared away. His professionalism and meticulous attention to detail were evident, as he even installed flooring in areas I hadn't considered. His dedication to achieving a flawless result was truly remarkable. He was also excellent value for money.

I am absolutely delighted with all our new flooring and have already recommended him to several others.

Eden Flooring recently completed the installation of a stunning Karndean floor in our kitchen, a process that included the essential task of screeding and levelling the entire surface prior to laying the new flooring. The floor looks fantastic and enhances the overall aesthetic of the room.

David is not only skilled in his craft but is also a friendly, personable professional. His trustworthy and honest nature, combined with his politeness and courtesy, made us feel entirely at ease having him in our home.

I have already taken the opportunity to recommend his services to others and will continue to do so without hesitation.
