Readers of these reviews may wonder why Nigel has such an exemplary record of 10/10's and, having just had him complete a major project for us, we can completely understand why; you simply cannot fault him on anything and in my opinion, you could not get anyone better.

We had a kitchen that we wanted to convert into a kitchen/diner and this required the knocking down of a dividing wall and opening the room up into a large space with a breakfast bar in the middle. Off the old diner was a conservatory - that was removed and a bigger extension built to create a secondary lounge.

Our vision was to have one large L-shaped living space and what we now have is over and above anything we could have imagined. We owe an amazing amount of gratitude to Nigel and the fact that he did everything he said he would and more - he promised us it would be stunning and it is. All was completed within his proposed timescale too.

His project management skills, dealing with the other contractors, was second to none and all his workforce were truly amazing. He demanded nothing short of his own meticulous requirements from them and constantly reinforced his highest standard of customer care.

At 8am every morning (for weeks), Nigel and Dave (his Dad) were here. I have to give Dave a specific mention as he is one of the nicest people you could meet and Nigel is a credit to him - both are the most personable and loveliest people. Both are also such hard workers and they just never stopped! Nigel would update us daily on everything that was going on and would always ensure that he checked with us that we were happy with everything during the project. They would always clear up at the end of each day and demonstrated immense consideration and respect of any inconvenience the work was causing us.

Nigel is a true master of his craft and is knowledgeable on every aspect of the work. His attention to detail and perfection is every homeowners dream and each day, as we saw the work progress, we had every confidence that we would be absolutely delighted with the end result.

Having read all the reviews for Nigel, we felt confident about contacting him to undertake the work. The first time that he came to look at the job, in order to quote for the work, we felt even more assured. His quote was competitive so the job was booked in.

During that time before the work began, Nigel visited and discussed every aspect of the job, ensuring that we were happy with the proposed project. There was also communication via email and telephone. He also organised for us to go and look at another garage conversion that he had done, so there were no doubts at all.

When the work began, Nigel consulted with us at every stage and the end result is an absolutely perfect conversion with two new functional rooms in our property.

Nigel is a joy to work with. His attitude and his approach to customer service are second to none. You could not meet a nicer guy - always punctual, works hard, takes immense pride in his work, has a cheerful and friendly nature and is highly skilled and knowledgeable in his trade.

10/10 for the entire service, which was a lot less disruptive than we had anticipated. Nigel may be a busy chap but whatever your project is, he is 'definitely' worth waiting for.

I cannot put into words how thrilled we are with our new kitchen and how impressed we are with Nigel - he is such a marvellous craftsman, thoroughly professional and a really lovely person.

The whole kitchen was gutted and he discussed everything with us at all stages of the project, offering helpful advice, guidance and suggestions which were geared to ensuring that we would get the result we wanted. His attitude, attention to detail and his project management of all the trades (plumber, plastering, electrician, etc.,) were second to none. We simply cannot praise him highly enough.

As pensioners, he treated us with kindness and consideration and kept any disruption or inconvenience to a minimum, for example ensuring that we had hot water.

We are over the moon with our new kitchen, which looks stunning.

Nigel fitted six replacement internal doors to the bedrooms and living room. From the estimate to the finished job, the whole process went without a hitch. The doors and door furniture were fitted to a high standard and look wonderful. He left our home clean and tidy and even cut up the old doors so we can dispose of them more easily.  He has a pleasant manner and you can tell that he is a real craftsman. This is the second time we have had Nigel do work for us and we would not hesitate to recommend him for his skills and craftsmanship. Thank you very much.

His work is always excellent and he is punctual. A very skilled craftsman and a nice bloke to boot!

The lounge had been freshly decorated and Nigel was very considerate and conscientious when he carried out the work and on clearing up. He was very meticulous in placing the fire surround and his fee for this was extremely reasonable. As our door frames were not perfect he stressed that we could call on him if any problems later occurred ie, closing of doors etc.  He had a very friendly, happy attitude and was willing to share his knowledge of his trade.   

Nigel helped us with the kitchen design which included expanding the kitchen area by  knocking down the dining room wall to create a large kitchen/diner.  He then supplied and fitted the kitchen and put down wooden flooring throughout. This is the fourth project Nigel has managed for us and the quality of work, attentiveness and support has been excellent. The kitchen has exceeded our expectations.

Excellent in all respects. I have no hesitation in asking Nigel to do any work needed as he is reliable and helpful in every way.

Nigel met with us to discuss the type of kitchen we required and he showed us a large choice of kitchens.  He then sent us a plan of the proposed kitchen so that we could amend anything if required.  He then ordered the kitchen and contacted us to arrange a fitting date.  We are so pleased with the kitchen and can't rate Nigel highly enough.  A very nice and trustworthy man, will definitely be using again for other jobs soon.
