My fence panel had blown down into my neighbour's garden.

Bob responded very quickly and assessed the damage. It was clear that the fence panel was broken so he went off and purchased a new one and returned the same day (Christmas Eve!) and not only did he fit the new panel, but he also reinforced the other panel/posts, and my side gate, as it was extremely windy.
I was extremely pleased with the service that Bob provided - he was very pleasant and helpful and I would happily recommend him to others.

Remove floor boards and supporting joist affected by dry rot, replace with new joists and floor boards.
Comments:
Unusual for any tradesman, but Bob turned up on time both to quote and do the work. I didn't pay any deposit, he kept me informed of any changes or additional work that needed doing, explaining everything he did and its cost implications.
As I was out while he did some of the work, he took photographs to show me the work he had done before the floor was laid. What I liked most is that he just got on with it without messing around and he did a good job of clearing up.
