APG Home Improvements are a very professional outfit - from Aaron guiding me through decisions on layout, what they could offer on accessibility; to Gerrard, Paul and Harry carrying out the installation, and Kate who kept me informed by email (phone-phobic!). They were here when they said they would be, the work was carried out to a very high standard, and I am absolutely delighted with the end results.

I can be a little wary of having unknown people in my home, I always feel somewhat vulnerable, but at no time did I feel uncomfortable with them here.

I will certainly approach them again for any future projects when the time comes.

From the initial meeting, through to completion, we cannot fault APG Home Improvements in any way. On the first visit Aaron spent three hours with us, which included going through all the brochures and helping with our selection of products, tiles for the walls, tiles for the floor, etc. He was extremely thorough and professional, and nothing felt rushed.

The start date was agreed and, on the day, George and Tyler (the fitters) turned up on time and got to work. They were absolutely wonderful in every way, hugely respectful of us and our property. We were incredibly grateful for how they made a fuss of our dog and how careful they were when going in and out of the front door, ensuring our dog didn’t get out.

The entire job went very smoothly, and the standard of work is excellent. My wife made a comment on how she missed George and Tyler when the work was complete; no doubt they made such a huge positive impression and are a credit to Aaron and all at APG Home Improvements.

We now have a beautiful bathroom with a new walk-in shower (the old bath was removed) and we could not be happier.

On an additional note, the water pressure in our area is not great and therefore we retrospectively spoke to Aaron about this, and he recommended a particular pump that would certainly help. As their schedule is busy, Tyler arrived last Saturday (out of hours) and spent four hours fitting the pump and checking everything – all of this was at no extra cost. The water pressure throughout the house is now brilliant – instant hot water and a faster flow in both the kitchen and cloakroom.

Incredible customer service, 10/10 across the board, and we happily and highly recommend APG Home Improvements.

Our house is about 50 years old and the last time anything was done to our cloakroom was a lick of paint about 25 years ago! It was in such a desperate need of refurbishment.

The entire room was cleared, with the old toilet and sink removed. There has always been so much pipework everywhere and part of the refurbishment included the boxing in of all the visible pipework.

I cannot praise APG Home Improvements enough for the outstanding workmanship. It is still a surprise to me when I go into this room and I can't stop admiring it; it truly is absolutely beautiful.

I am so delighted that we chose APG Home Improvements to carry out this work for us; from start to finish they were absolutely fantastic. Prior to getting Aaron in to provide us with a quote, we did have someone else in (non-Safe Local Trades) who asked the question ‘do you have another toilet in the house?’ When I replied ‘no’, he said that he would have to organise the hire of a portable toilet to go in the garden! I was horrified by the thought of this and knew this wasn’t the supplier for me.

When Aaron came to quote, he asked the same question about another toilet in the house. When I said no, he replied, ‘then we will ensure you have a working toilet throughout the project’ and that is exactly what they did.

I could not have asked for a better team of fitters who carried out the work – they were professional, friendly, considerate, and kept checking that I was happy with everything. They even worked longer hours on some of days if they needed to get some specific work finished. Having tradesmen in your home can be an imposition, but they were an absolute pleasure to have in my home.

I have already recommended APG Home Improvements to others and I look forward to having them back next year to replace our kitchen.
