Reviews of J C Rutter Carpentry, Joinery & Property Improvements

What can I say? A brilliant job! Another word that comes to mind is organised. When I found Chris, I had been badly let down by another local tradesman who had left me with my bathroom door off. Within minutes, Chris said he could do the jobs that needed doing. Even though he had to be away part of the time, everything was so well-organised that when he came back, all he needed to do was open the tin of paint. The plasterers were great, my only hitch came with the person scraping the paper off the walls—in the end, I probably did half of this myself—but this was absolutely not Chris' fault.

I am already planning to have him back to hopefully fit a matching hall cupboard door, and I highly recommend him.

Chris came out to me at very short notice - his work was of the very highest standard; not a wood shaving left on site and a very nice guy too.

Soon be run out of superlatives to bestow on all of your team at Safe Local Trades - it's always perfect and such a pleasure!

Great service, on time, appreciate the work which was done to a high standard.

Chris arrived at the time stated and efficiently completed the work. Our stair carpet and hall floor was protected. He tidied up removing all the discarded wood.

He kept us informed during the work and asked our advice over one particular aspect.

We can't fault his workmanship. Happy to have him in our home again.

I have a mock Tudor house that needed some of the wood replacing. Through SLT I contacted Chris who promptly replied, came over and quoted within the day. I had also contacted other carpenters who did not respond so thank you Chris.

Chris and Jack arrived on time did a great job. I also had two wooden internal doors fitted all of which went very smoothly. They cleaned after themselves very well and Chris even went out of his way to purchase oil for the doors.

I cannot recommend Chris and Jack highly enough. Thank you both for a great job.

Chris did an excellent job and very pleasant man.

All good.

Arrived early. Did the job in double quick time. Very friendly. Cannot fault him.

We are scheduled to have the room decorated next week, so it was essential to replace the skirting beforehand. Thank you Chris, for accommodating this work on short notice.

The job was completed with professionalism and efficiency, with perfect results.

Great quality and workmanship, super fast. Very tidy and great response from first query to completion.
