Summary:
Following installation of a new dimmer switch in the bathroom, 2 days ago, there was a 'pop' and all upstairs lights went out. I didn't want to replace the fuse in the fuse box without finding out what the original problem was, so called Michael. He came round within a couple of hours, found that the dimmer switch was faulty qne replaced with a plain switch, to get my bathroom lights working again and sorted the blown fuse in the fuse box.

Summary:
Michael Martin of AerialMan solved a re-occurring issue with certain sky tv channels not receiving a connection - this had been an issue for many months, with other tradesman not being able to fix and sky tv could not upgrade me to Sky Q because of this.
Comments:
Michael tried many ways to get reception of these lost channels, including being up on the flat roof replacing parts in the satellite to increase signal; he was determined to find the fault.
He is the man and I'm happy to say a simple reason for the fault in my connection was found - the back plate was faulty! His expertise and knowledge got there in the end.
Friendly and down to earth, anything electrical or to do with aerials, I would highly recommend Michael Martin.

Summary:
Replaced faulty strip-light in kitchen, which was constantly flickering.
Comments:
Michael is a very pleasant and polite gentleman and he did a very efficient job for a very reasonable price.
On his initial visit to inspect the light, he confirmed that it needed replacing and assured me that the exisiting one would be removed and disposed of safely (due to the fluorescent tubes) which I was grateful for.
He bought a new one and returned to fit it and then provided me with a signed receipt. A very professional service with covid awareness in place too.
I would recommend Michael to anyone.

Comments:
Michael and his assistant responded to our initial call and were on site within an hour. They completed the work within half an hour of arrival and the charge was very reasonable. I can highly recommend him.

The pull-chord in the bathroom light had snapped off.
Comments:
Michael is a very pleasant man and, in order to fix the issue, he replaced the entire pull-chord unit for a very reasonable price.
I shall certainly use him again if I require any other electrical work.

He is very professional and explained the issue clearly, before fixing it. I feel very confident about using his services again, as I plan to replace the fuse box with RCP and appreciated his explanation about that job, time and costs. Excellent service.
