We moved into a new home which required a full rewire, including a new consumer board. We obtained several quotes and Mark's was the best - it was clear, detailed, and easy to understand. 

When the work began, the team arrived bang on time every day. As this was such a big job, I couldn't have asked for nicer people to have in my home, all were very personable, easy to have around and did not make me feel in any way uncomfortable at any time. They went over and above with little extras and answered all my questions and queries in a professional manner. 

I cannot rate them highly enough and would definitely have them back - they were all absolutely brilliant. I trust them, they are good value for money and they did exactly what was outlined in the quotation with no hidden extras. Good service is invaluable and that is exactly what Story Electrical provided.

We had a massive extension, consisting of a new kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Mark and his team carried out all of the electrical work, including lighting, sockets, switches, fusebox etc. The quality was second to none and every aspect of their service was fantastic. Great communication, very quick to respond and with sending associated paperwork, very professional and the whole team were absolutely lovely.

10/10 across the board and I will definitely be using them again and will recommend to others.

The service provided my Mark was faultless, he was absolutely brilliant.

I found him to be friendly, easy to talk to and very professional. What I also liked is that when he provided me with all the options available for EV Chargers, he explained them all and was not pushing me to choose the most expensive one, he left the decision with me. He is honest and trustworthy and also very knowledgeable; he certainly knows his trade.

Great communication from the outset and very efficient at letting us know exactly when to expect him, which was extremely important to us to know what time he was coming. Once the installation was complete, the entire area was cleaned and you wouldn't have know that he had been. He then showed me how it all worked and left all the instructions with me. 

I would absolutely recommend him to anyone and feel he is an excellent candidate for Safe Local Trades and all that it stands for.

Mark carried out two jobs for me. The first was the installation of a 'Zappie' EV home charger, followed by a new Battery System for our solar PV panels that had been installed in 2010. As part of this, the fuseboard needed to be rewired and both systems were connected to our WiFi.

I worked as an industrial engineer and am used to complicated wiring systems and I simply could not fault the quality of the wiring carried out - it was to a very high standard. This was quite a tricky job but did not phase Mark in the slightest. He is a true competent professional, very pleasant and just gets on with the job in hand. He was punctual, did an excellent clean and tidy job and I would certainly have him back when we require his services in the future.

I would recommend him without any hesitation.

We moved into the bungalow, with just a few small possessions, as we needed a full renovation prior to moving in properly (no point in having furniture in the way!). We had five different tradespeople to do the work and Mark was our chosen electrician. Both he and Michael listened to all our requirements and took them on board and were flexible and accommodating with changes along the way. They were absolutely fantastic and worked alongside the other trades really well. Michael was our consistent chap and our builder commented that he had never seen such a clean, tidy and conscientiousness electrician who took immense pride in his work.  

As I chose to live in the property whilst the work was being done (small desk in a room), Michael ensured that we always had electricity in relevant parts of the house and also hot water - he couldn't do enough for us. Great communication from Mark throughout the project, always checking in to ensure we were completely satisfied and always available for a face to face catch up. We also had Luke the apprentice and all of them were completely trustworthy, friendly, and I never felt uncomfortable.

Mark is honest, super knowledgeable and had a great understanding of the project and dealing with the other trades. His skill in managing his team on our renovation was seamless and professional. 

We're not quite finished the project yet and Mark will be returning soon as the new kitchen has just arrived!

I cannot recommend Story Electrical highly enough and could not have found a better team to carry out our work.
