Very professional, prompt and left our garden very neat and tidy.

I've just had some more work done by the Doctor Tree team; this time they cut back my native species protected hedge, it's about 100 metres long. 

As usual their work was excellent and very professional. They always arrive on time and clear up immaculately afterwards not leaving any clippings etc., behind.  

I've used Doctor Tree a lot over the years and have always been extremely satisfied with the results. 

I've had work done by these guys for around 5 years now - always very competent and safe. They arrive when they say they will and leave the area tidy after the work is done. Would highly recommend.

A quick, reliable, and professional service. They also cleared away all tree branches and bushes and left it tidier than it was before!

Daniel and the team did an absolutely incredible job and I could not be happier with the results. The large conifer hedges on both sides of my garden were a huge undertaking and it included the grinding down and removal of all the roots. I bought some new garden tools believing that turning over the cleared areas would be quite arduous and therefore I was astonished to find that there was not one sign of any root left, just lovely soft soil. 

All the team were always polite and professional, and each individual had a lovely manner. 

Very high standard of work and I cannot recommend this firm highly enough.

The first time that I used the services of Daniel was during lockdown when one of our trees started to wobble! I took a video of this to send to him and we discussed what needed to be done. As all the trees in the area I live have a TPO (Tree Preservation Order) on them, Daniel kindly liaised with the council in order to get the green light to fell the tree. On the day agreed, the team came and carried out the work and did a perfect job.

More recently, the branches of my neighbour’s very overgrown tree (which also had a TPO on it) were on the guttering of our house and Daniel was extremely helpful in once again helping to get council permission for these to be pruned on my side on the fence.

Due to my husband’s illness, he has a very low immune system and both he and I keep ourselves in our own social bubble. Daniel was also flexible and accommodating when we had to change the day when the work was due to commence as my husband’s hospital appointment was moved.

When onsite, Daniel was very understanding and careful to adhere to all the necessary social distancing. Prior to the work being carried out, I asked him to check the other trees to see if they were safe and needed any work. He did this and confirmed that they were all okay – if it had been anyone else, I am sure they would have probably tried to up-sell in getting more work.

On the day the work took place, whilst Daniel was in the cherry picker, I would also like to mention how pleased I was that he kept checking with me that I was happy with the branches he was removing – he provided excellent customer service and was (including his team) unbelievably careful with all the health and safety aspects in carrying out their service.

In summary, Daniel is a pleasant, genuine, honest professional with a good-natured gentle manner. He certainly knows his trade inside out and is extremely knowledgeable.

The weather had been quite windy which caused the large tree in my front garden to crack and lean outwards. As I live in an area with elderly neighbours, I was extremely concerned that it would completely break and hurt someone - it looked really dangerous.

I phoned Daniel late that evening and he came round first thing the following morning. He completely removed the tree and ground the stump down, which was a huge relief. He then did a thorough job of clearing the area. He had a blower, which he used on the sawdust to direct it into a pile and then swept it all up.

During this time, several neighbours came out to inspect what was going on. He was very courteous and friendly to them all and explained what he was doing. Testament to this is that he was offered numerous cups of tea!

We get a lot of cowboys around here but Daniel is certainly not one of them - he is a true professional tradesman and I could not have asked for anyone better.

I have already recommended him to others and will continue to do so.

We employed Doctor Tree particularly because he is trained in arboriculture and, as such, knows how to top, side and undercut trees so that no damage is caused and the trees can regenerate in a natural way. His work on our very large walnut tree was excellent in reducing its size whilst leaving it in a perfect shape. Similarly, when felling trees, the work has been done in a very safe manner with the work area left properly cleared and tidy. We feel that trees should always be treated with respect and would not hesitate to recommend his services.
